All you need to know about your pelvic floor

during pregnancy and beyond

Did You Know?

Did you know that up to 89% of women will experience a tear during vaginal delivery, and 60-70% of these women will require stitches?

Did you know that the risk factors for tearing include having a large fetus, having your 1st delivery, advanced maternal age (>35) and forcep or vacuum delivery?

Did you know that the pelvic floor muscles can lengthen up to 3 times their resting length to allow for vaginal delivery without excessive tearing?

Hi, I'm Jenn

Why did I create the Worry-Free L&D course? Because so many of my clients are new moms who are struggling with incontinence, painful sex, pelvic organ prolapse or pain and they say to me...

"I wish I had known how to prevent this from happening in the first place!"

Pelvic floor physical therapy is about educating women about their bodies, what is normal or not and also to understand what their bodies are capable of. A lot of amazing things!

So it dawned on me that creating a course that was equal parts education and practical techniques could help women avoid undo trauma to their bodies during labor & delivery.

Your plate will be full with taking care of your newborn, so wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to worry about healing from a traumatic childbirth?

This course is for every expecting mama. Whether it's your 1st or 4th child, there is something in this course for you!

You got this mama!

What Aimee Has to Say...

Since this is my second pregnancy and will be my second time birthing a baby, I am actively seeking ways to prepare my body for a smooth L&D experience with (hopefully) less tearing than with my first. The Worry Free L&D Class gave me specific strategies, such as breathing exercises, labor/birth positions, and tips for perineal massage, that I can incorporate at any point in my pregnancy and will help me labor with confidence. Jenn was knowledgeable and engaging, and no topic was off-limits for her. I recommend the Worry Free L&D Class to fellow expectant mothers, especially first-time moms and women interested in unmedicated births.
